Dr. Brittany St. Jean has been recognized by the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 2024 40 UNDER FORTY. This award program recognizes and celebrates 40 high achieving individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated leadership and success in their respective fields.

  • Laureen Dorow

    CEO/OWNER/SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

    Laureen is the managing owner of White Birch Educational Services. As a school psychologist, Laureen worked with children of all ages, with the majority of her career focused on high school age students supporting them through individual and group counseling, team consultation and collaboration, psychoeducational and social emotional evaluations. Her extensive experience working with special education teams allows her to assist White Birch team members and school districts with roles, training, and understanding needs. For many years Laureen was an adjunct professor in the school psychology department as well as an internship supervisor with Rivier University. Laureen has supervised dozens of interns over the years and enjoys helping them hone their skills to become experts in the field of school psychology. Laureen has had in depth training on assessments, trauma, suicide intervention, and disaster relief response. Laureen was part of obtaining a four year grant for a district which provided trauma training and how to implement this knowledge and supports in schools. Laureen has been part of and presented with a team of professionals at several conferences on Mental Health Wellness in Schools and the development of MTSS for school districts. The team has received multiple awards on outstanding service for children and mental health. Laureen continues to consult with school districts and supports team members in their roles and with their career goals.

  • Brittany St. Jean, Psy.D.

    Dr. St. Jean is a licensed psychologist and school psychologist in New Hampshire with a background in clinical, counseling, and school psychology. She has worked at WBES since 2019, is the director of training for the doctoral internship program, and is the clinical manager for WBES school psychology services. She completed her APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)  in the Priority Behavioral Health Internship Consortium and her post-doctoral training year at Hillside Children's Center in upstate New York. Dr. St. Jean has experience as a consultant to school districts in New Hampshire, providing threat assessment, neuropsychological evaluations, and counseling intervention services. She has also taught as an adjunct professor in the graduate and doctoral programs at RIT and Rivier University. Dr. St. Jean currently serves as the President of the New Hampshire Psychological Association, as well as on the Behavioral Health Advocacy Committee and state association liaison to the New Hampshire Board of Psychology. Most recently, Dr. St. Jean was chosen as a member of the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 2024 class of “40 Under 40.” She is a member of the New Hampshire Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists. Dr. St. Jean's clinical interests include supervision, systems-level consultation, equity and inclusion, advocacy, and psychological evaluation.

  • Susan Tofani

    DIRECTOR OF RELATED SERVICES

    Susan joined WBES in 2023, and is a speech-language pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with children and young adults in Maine and New Hampshire. She holds degrees in linguistics, Communication Sciences and Disorders and later earned her C.A.G.S which supported her leadership roles as special education coordinator, out-of-district coordinator, preschool coordinator, and court liaison. Susan has extensive training in social cognitive therapy, and particularly enjoys the engagement achieved through literacy-based interventions for her students. Although she enjoys working with all ages, Susan is most drawn to the preschool and early elementary populations. Susan is passionate about mentoring other service providers to achieve their personal and professional goals, and is dedicated to leading supportive, collaborative, solutions-focused teams in order to improve outcomes for all stakeholders.

  • Lana Hoyt, MS, CAGS, ABSNP

    FIELD DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES

    Lana, a licensed school psychologist in New Hampshire, is also a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology. She began her career teaching at the preschool level and at a private special education day school, where she provided instruction to students with language-based learning disabilities. These early experiences ignited her passion for understanding how children learn, what they need to succeed, and how to help others understand the best ways to support their learning. Lana has worked as a school psychologist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire public schools. She brings extensive experience in individual counseling, psychoeducational and social-emotional evaluations, team collaboration, and consultation. With a strong background in special education law and procedures, Lana has served as an interim special education director. She has delivered professional development on anxiety, behavior management, and the special education process and eligibility. As a New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists member, Lana is committed to supporting individuals and teams, advocating for students, and providing supervision and coaching. Her passion for psychological evaluations and team collaboration drives her work to create positive educational outcomes for all students.

  • Jeff Dorow

    DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

    After being a business owner for almost 25 years, Jeff brings his experience and expertise of business knowledge to White Birch Educational Services. Jeff is responsible for the company’s financial operations which include overseeing accounting functions, employee benefits, and school district contracts. Jeff began with White Birch in 2022 after owning and serving as President of Lifetime Benefits Group, Inc. from 1998-2021. He and his business partner sold their insurance agency to NH’s largest employee benefits brokerage firm, CGI Business Solutions. Jeff previously served on the Broker Advisory Boards for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Tufts Health Freedom Plan, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of NH. Jeff’s focus is on growing the company responsibly while keeping quality and service its top priorities. He has also enjoyed being a part time volunteer ski patroller at Waterville Valley Ski Resort for the past 13 years.

  • Rhoda McVeigh

    Rhoda McVeigh

    DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE SERVICES

    Rhoda joined White Birch in early 2025. She is a human resources professional with over 30 years of experience and has led HR teams in organizational development, compliance, staffing, and training in consumer services for national retail and fast-casual dining organizations, as well as having been an HR Consultant for several years. Rhoda is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by HRCI and a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is also active in the NH SHRM State Council and serves on the Board of Directors for the HR Association of Greater Concord, NH (HRAGC).
